Julie HONOHAN, Owner/stylist - Staff Bios

 I have been a stylist in Central Florida for 12 years.  As the daughter of a hair stylist and a salon owner this industry seems to come natural to me.  It is my passion!  Education is extremely important to me.  I have had extensive training in color, color correction, up-dos, extensions, make-up as well as marketing and business. Magnolias Salon has given me the opportunity to teach my craft to up and coming stylist while perfecting my own.  Bringing the creativity out in someone new in the industry while guiding them to become a successful business person is extremely rewarding!

Being involved in the fashion/commercial industry as on-camera talent has allowed me the chance to experience make-up and hair techniques used in the television and film industry.  I have also had extensive training in the Pageant and Fashion Show industry, both on stage and behind the stage.  I have found my love for behind the scenes over powers my love for being on stage.  Whether making someone look amazing for the stage or for their every day life, it is an wonderful feeling to give someone confidence in whatever they need to accomplish.  If you look your best it comes in everything you do!!

I am the mother of two beautiful children, Cullen and Riley.   I strive everyday to do my best in order to be the proper role model for them.  I hope to be able to teach them that you can be successful if you dedicate yourself to what you are most passionate about!
